“We were very happy with our experience with Cage & Aquarium. Before the wedding, our DJ was very organized and allayed any anxiety we had about the music. He clearly was very knowledgeable about music, and was able to put together a list of songs that would accommodate our tastes and those of our guests. There were innumerable times during the reception when one of us thought, "We didn't ask for that song specifically--how did he know to play it?" When things ran a little late, our DJ handled it well. In the dancing portion of the evening, he really knew how to get people out on the floor. We'd recommend C&A to anyone planning a wedding.”

Our wedding was the most fun day of my life. Cage and Aquarium helped make that happen! Tyler and Twan were the most professional, caring, and fun DJs a bride could work with. About a month before our wedding, Tyler let me know that there was a slight chance he would be unable to be our DJ. As a result, he called in multiple back ups, and scheduled a meeting with the back up head DJ (Twan) so that I would be completely comfortable with whoever was the head DJ at my reception. I could not believe the lengths that he went to make sure no matter who was the head DJ, my day would be perfect! In the end, I had both Tyler and Twan at my reception! They were incredible!

When it was time to start dancing, the floor got crowded and stayed that way! They listened to all of my ideas and came up with an awesome play list. Our friends and our parent’s friends alike loved the music. Everything was classy, fun, upbeat, and danceable!

"Cage & Aquarium Productions was exactly what we had hoped for at our wedding reception.

Here's what we wanted: fun music that transitioned everyone from dinner to dancing, help with weird things we were planning for our guests at the reception (Bingo, a dance-off...), and most of all, we wanted OUR reception, not some package deal with a lame dj with corny lines that takes away, not adds, to what we envisioned our special day would be.

Here's what we got: amazing thoughtfulness in helping us plan, great suggestions, no big egos, no crazy looks when we brought up another weird idea, professional equipment, great listeners, and a mix of the right music that used a lot of our requested songs with additions that made us dance our shoes off. And thank goodness, because as prepared as we thought we were, we're really glad we didn't have to think of everything."

I was thoroughly impressed with Cage and Aquarium's overall professionalism and it made a huge difference in providing the wedding my wife and I wanted. Our deejay, Stolie, was a real pro and was very familiar with all the genres of music we like, including lesser known indie rock bands. She did such a great job that she had the bride and her best friend dancing on the tables! Tyler and C&A offered us services (e.g., processional lineup help, live music) not offered by any other DJ company I found, and their price was still competitive. If I had another wedding to plan the easiest decision would be booking the deejay - Cage & Aquarium, no questions asked!

Hiring Cage and Aquarium for our wedding was a great decision. Many DJs from C&A are trained musicians and Tyler understood what music would get our guests on the dance floor. Leading up to the event, Tyler reached out and was involved in our timelines for the day. We had a second ceremony at the reception site (a short Jewish ceremony) and he even offered to play music during it so we wouldn't have to hire additional musicians! What couple doesn't want a vendor who is willing to go above and beyond and keeps a smile on his face while offering helpful suggestions? We also received many compliments about how pleasant Tyler and his assistant were - they obviously made an impression on our guests! It was important for us to work with vendors who were honest, friendly and truly cared about the role they played in our day. It was clear that Tyler genuinely enjoys the part he plays in "the most important day of your life." He treated us like were a VIP clients. If I throw an event where I need a DJ, I will definitely hire Cage and Aquarium!

Cage and Aquarium did an amazing job for our wedding. Tyler Huffman had an initial meeting with us and struck us as a very earnest and genuine person who was truly making our wedding special for us. We had many conversations prior to the wedding to review our "must play" songs, and music for the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing.

We have never seen a dance floor so full for an entire evening as we saw during our wedding. Tyler was able to read our guests' taste in music and react accordingly. He saw that 80's music was working, so he went with that, but mixed up enough other music to get everyone involved. Several guests asked if they could get a copy of the set list after the wedding.

Our wedding was the happiest day of our lives, and C & A played an important part in the event. We highly recommend them to anyone who likes to dance and believes the music at your wedding should reflect who you are as people.
