As promised, this is part II of Anu + Andy's wedding day, but trust us you still want to see part I if you missed it!

They had a Hindu ceremony the morning of May 25, 2019. Afterward, they served lunch for their family and friends at the venue. The groomsmen then traveled to the Renaissance Hotel to get ready, while the girls got glammed up in their second outfits in the bridal room at Artifact Events. Andy and the guys proceeded to Milton Lee Olive Park for some groomsmen portraits. When Anu arrived, and they shared their *second* first look on the bridge over the water. After giving them their special moment, we photographed the wedding party in their new attire!

The Honeycomb Structure at Lincoln Park Zoo was Anu and Andy's second stop for location portraits, and their wedding party loved it. They started climbing all over it and it made some really fun portraits! The last stop was at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond - a hidden oasis near Lincoln Park Zoo that is sooo romantic. When we arrived at the venue after all the locations, they had a friend bring their dog, Sprout, to the venue. Sprout is the prettiest girl and has ice blue eyes, she's an angel, and we couldn't get enough puppy kisses!

Artifact Events is located in the Ravenswood neighborhood in Chicago. It's a four-floor industrial antique space and has a beautiful courtyard. The antiques often change, making it totally unique for each and every wedding. Several floors allow for very creative wedding party introductions, as well as tons of different perspectives for your photographers! You can pick and choose which spaces you will use for your wedding, so no ceremony or reception is the same! We adore working at Artifact Events and they did such a great job setting up multiple ceremony and reception spaces for this lovely couple.

After their cocktail hour and wedding party introductions, Anu and Andy were welcomed into their reception. The groomsmen and bridesmaids lined the stairs. When Anu and Andy reached the bottom of the grand staircase, they shared their personal, handwritten vows in front of all of their guests and sealed it with a kiss and a tender hug. It was the perfect way to kick off their party! Dinner was served and many speeches were given, these two are so so loved.

Andy danced with his mom first to Never Grow Up by Taylor Swift. Anu's brother stood in for all the fatherly duties, after they lost their father a couple years prior. They danced with together to You've Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story. It was the cutest thing in the whole world!

Andy and Anu choreographed their first dance. They took the floor underneath the all the twinkly lights and danced to Rewrite the Stars from The Greatest Showman soundtrackIt was so perfect that their guests flooded the dance floor immediately afterward. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dessert, tunes from the DJ, and the photo booth until everyone gathered in the middle of the dance floor for a "good night" portrait. A must-have wedding photo if your venue allows for it!

Right now we wish we could relive this day for all it's beauty and togetherness. We are so thankful for all the vendors that made this day possible, and to one of our favorite couples - Anu and Andy. Stay safe, stay healthy, and check back in next week for a new blog post!

Jennifer and Kristin are just the most adorable, fun loving, joy-to-be-around couple. They had a quiet morning getting ready together with a quick visit from their moms. The only thing better than one bride is two brides! They adventured around the city with matching bouquets and sandals, but they each wore their own gorgeous wedding dress that encapsulated who they are as individuals.

They had their wedding at Greenhouse Loft on September 7, 2018. The beautiful floral arrangements and decor throughout the entire space served for both their ceremony and reception. They choreographed their first dance, had a doughnut wall for their guests, and shared a macaroon on the dance floor.

These two were just so in love and their main goal was to have fun on their wedding day. We don't have to tell our readers that Jennifer and Kristin are best friends and a perfect match for one another, it is so apparent through these photographs.

Vanessa and Bastian became husband and wife on October 28, 2019. Their story began with grabbing tacos and beer at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. They both love the beach, so after dinner they spent hours talking on lifeguard tower in Capitola. Their first kiss happened on their second date, after chowing down on some pizza. Basti dragged Vanessa back to Capitola and proposed on the beach near the spot they shared their first date - how romantic!

They had an intimate ceremony with 50 guests and took portraits in the breathtaking San Francisco City Hall. It's not your typical city hall, no waiting line or stiff office rooms, this building is gorgeous! It was built in 1913 with steel, granite, and four floors of white marble interior, in addition to the gilt exterior detailing, a sweeping grand staircase, and the massive dome - which is 307-feet tall and 42-feet taller than the dome of our nation's capital.

In the heart of the building they shared their vows beneath that dome. After taking more portraits near the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, the newlyweds boarded their cruise ship for their reception. Yup - that's right, they had their reception on a BOAT! As the sun was setting and the party was kicking off, the boat toured around the Bay Bridge, the skyline, and off into the sea toward the Golden Gate Bridge.

The two have traveled the world together, so it makes sense that they would have an adventurous wedding day! Vanessa and Bastian said "Our wedding day is about friends and family, celebrating our love." My oh my, did they do it well!
